I started this project eight months ago. Here’s the final leg of the journey since the last update:
November 10: CarolinaEast Cancer Center Chapel, stained glass panel no. 3, the glass cutting stage will be completed tomorrow and then the leading step begins.
November 11: Finished cutting all the glass. 158 pieces in this 8’ x 19” panel.
November 19: Panel number 4 almost finished cutting.
December 7: Eleven more pieces of glass to cut. When it’s time to stop, I have learned to stop. It’s going to be waiting for me tomorrow. The “straw that broke the camels back,” yeah, don’t need that extra stress.
December 12: And now it’s time to add the magic. This is the 5th and final panel. Almost finished with the CarolinaEast Cancer Center Chapel Panels.
December 14: Almost finished. Panels 4 & 5 is on my table. I’m feeling a sense of relief now that I am almost finished.
December 29: Finished and ready to transport to CarolinaEast Cancer Center. It’s been a long 8 months and looking forward to seeing them in The Faith, Hope & Love Chapel in January 2021.
January 5, 2021: Inspection Day. Let’s hope the CarolinaEast folks like what I have created for their Chapel.
