Two stained glass window panels for a home on the water inspired by the Neuse River and the forest around this home. Daytime and nighttime images show just how important the light plays on these “painterly'” designs.
That extra something – hand-made, mouth-blown artisan glass – helps my designs come alive with movement and flow. The heron is a bird that visits this home often, and the Neuse River is filled with cypress trees, so it only seemed appropriate to create that environment along with the abundance of birds, flowers, etc.
Truly two of the most beautiful stained glass panels I have made in a very long time. My images do not do them justice.
