A Series of Unfortunate Events: Clay Fail #3

There are those times when no matter how good your skill level has become, failure still happens. A day making porcelain slabs, many more days building my thin walled spherical orbs and several more days creating coral reef environments. Everything appears to be going as planned, so off to bed and dream those good dreams while you think of all that wonderful “making” you did for several weeks. You wake up, coffee in hand and uncover your work only to discover: Collapsed and fallen forms. 🙁

There is nothing more disappointing than looking at weeks of work only to see ruin before your eyes. These are the moments I say to myself: Keep Moving Forward, Take Your Next Step, Do not give up. My failures tell me: Slow down, stop promising deadlines, breathe, pay attention, ponder this setback, and keep moving forward as this will pass.
