Studio M, operated by Michaele Rose Watson, is a United States-based art studio and workshop provider. Contact: mr*@**********se.com, 217 Middle Street New Bern NC. 

2. Scope

This Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have. It covers information collected online, by email, and at our studio and events.

3. Information we collect

  • Identity and contact. Name, email, phone, postal address.

  • Registration and transaction. Class selections, dates, and payment amounts.

  • Communications. Messages and preferences.

  • Usage and device data. IP address, browser, pages viewed, and similar analytics data via cookies and pixels. 

  • Images and recordings. Workshop documentation where permitted.

Do not provide sensitive health, financial, or government ID numbers through contact forms.

4. How we use information

  • Provide and improve classes, events, and customer support.

  • Process payments, fulfill orders, and manage waitlists.

  • Send service messages, confirmations, schedule updates, and safety notices.

  • Send newsletters or promotions if you opt in, with an unsubscribe link in each email. 

  • Protect security, prevent fraud, and comply with laws.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use first-party and third-party cookies for site operations and analytics. You can manage cookies in your browser settings and opt out of Google Analytics.

6. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share only with service providers that help us operate, subject to confidentiality obligations, such as: website hosting, email marketing, scheduling and ticketing tools, payment processors, analytics, and shipping.
Purchases on Etsy are processed under Etsy’s privacy policy, and Etsy may provide us limited data needed to fulfill your order. 

7. Data retention

We retain records as needed for operations, accounting, and legal obligations. Typical retention is up to 2 years for routine inquiries and registrations, and longer where law or tax rules require. 

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including TLS encryption on our site, access controls, and provider due diligence. No method is 100 percent secure.

9. Children

Our site and adult workshops are intended for adults. 

10. Your choices

  • You may opt out of marketing emails at any time.

  • You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at mr*@**********se.com. We may verify your request before actioning it.

11. State privacy rights in the United States

Residents of certain states have additional rights, including access, deletion, portability, correction, and the right to opt out of targeted advertising or sale of personal information. We honor valid requests from residents of states with such laws, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, and other states with active statutes. 12. GDPR notice

We are a US-based studio and do not target EU residents. If an EU resident interacts with us, we may process data on the basis of consent, contract, legitimate interests, or legal obligation, and we will honor valid rights requests submitted to mr*@**********se.com

13. Third-party links and embedded content

Our site may link to external websites or embed content. Those sites have their own policies and we are not responsible for their practices. 

14. International transfers

If you access our site from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States where laws may differ.

We may update this Policy. The “Effective date” will show the latest version.
